Leslie Starlight is the united mind of three Chicago heavy hitters, a Hammond Organ, and some beautiful songs reimagined for a harmonizing trio of funk players. Veterans of the Chicago funk & jazz scene, Leslie Starlight’s players are giving you a peek into their love for the songs of the Beatles, Allman Brothers, Dolly Parton, Little Feat, and Beyond. Shirking the traditional jazz/boogaloo organ trio format, these fellas are song and groove centric to the core. Matt Blocher plays Hammond organ, Kellen Boersma plays guitar, Matt Smalligan plays drums.
