FROM Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee: “In an unexpected turn of events, I received a text from Jen today saying: “I’m still in New Orleans, but leaving with one less organ than I came with”. She assured me that she is fine and all is well, but the docs say needs to stay where she?s at and rest up for a few days. That being said, she cannot make it to Chicago by Thursday. The good people at Garcia’s think that the show must go on, so I will be performing a solo set followed by a set with some friends of mine. While I was really looking forward to laughing with Jen on stage, we both hope you all understand that life happens and this one is out of our control. Friday’s show with Jake is still on as planned.
