Chicago-based bluegrass outfit Andy Miller & The 145s  (pronounced “one forty-fives”) announce the release of their debut recording, Port Of Indiana, with nine original tunes and one bluegrass standard. The album is available now, both  digitally and physically at onefortyfives.bandcamp.com

The band’s own original material ranges from the attitude-filled hardgrass of “A Truer Heart” to the gentle clawhammer instrumental “Starting Again,” with subject matter as varied as domestic abuse (“The Coldest Night”), unlikely harbor locations (“Port of Indiana”), and of course, plenty of songs about frustrated love. Andy rips through the traditional “Rain and Snow” with a menacing growl to bring the album to an electrifying close.

Recorded at Reelsounds, one of Chicago’s premier project studios, the album focuses on the considerable talents of the four band members, with guests Rita Ruby and Annalee Koehn lending harmony vocals on two songs.

Garcia’s is fully ADA compliant featuring wheelchair lifts and ramps between the various levels of the venue, assisted listening devices upon request, and allows official service animals. Premium Table seating is located closest to the stage offering the most intimate music experience for guests and includes table service. Reserved Table seating is located on our main floor, behind the Premium section, and also includes table service. Both Premium and Reserved table seating is cabaret style which means you may be sitting with other fans. Private Booths are available and depending on the booth seats 1 to 4, 5, or 6 guests. General Admission/Standing Room is located around the sides of the room on an elevated level for quality viewing and easy bar access.
